La notte degli Oscar – La 89esima edizione si è svolta all’insegna della diversità: lacrime ed emozioni e disillusioni. “La La Land” vince per pochi minuti come miglior film e passa la vittoria a Moonlight – GALLERIA FOTOGRAFICA

Los Angeles, 27 febbraio 2017 – Per la prima volta nella storia dell’ Academy Awards si è commesso un errore, direi gravissimo, nell’annuncio del miglior film.
L’ultima coppia presentata come il Bonnye e Clyde, Faye Dunaway e Warren Beatty, hanno ricevuto la busta sbagliata. Mentre tutto il cast e produttore compreso di “La La Land” ringraziavano tra baci e abbracci, Beatty segnala l’errore “ ‘Moonlight’ è il vincitore, “sorry”. I La La Land restituiscono gli Oscars che passano nelle mani dei “Moonlight”. Considerando come per tutta la durata dello show non si è fatto altro che ascoltare come dobbiamo rispettarci, essere tolleranti, come l’arte non abbia frontiere, il cinema ci accomuna e così via, la situazione è stata veramente imbarazzante. Specialmente perchè al cast di “Moonlight’ non è rimasto molto tempo per i ringraziamenti, ma la vittoria ha compensato la disillusione iniziale.
La parte migliore dello Show della 89esima edizione dell’Academy, è stata l’apertura fatta da Justin Timberlake che cantando Trolls, “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” e ballando, ha presentato Jimmy Kimmel ma quel che ci si aspettava dalla sua comicità non è avvenuto. Molte ripetizioni con i popcorn, doughnuts e biscotti scesi in sala con piccoli paracaduti. Gli ultimi popcorn , Kimmel li ha fatti richiedere dal giovanissimo attore di ‘Lion” , Sunny Pawar. Si è cercato di creare novità per animare la serata, incluso l’arrivo a sorpresa, ma era chiaro che non lo fosse, dei turisti ignari d’essere portati nella sala degli Oscars.
Kimmel ha suggerito a Denzel Washington, di unire in matrimonio una coppia dei turisti che avevano annunciato a giorni l’evento reale e poi ha chiesto agli attori di regalare un loro souvenir ai turisti: occhiali, fazzoletti…
I ringraziamenti di Viola Davis tra le lacrime e qualche singhiozzo di commozione, hanno avuto il maggior effetto sul pubblico. “Spesso – la Davis ha detto – le persone mi chiedono quali storie vorresti raccontare? Rispondo, vorrei riesumare le storie di persone innamorate dei loro sogni mai realizzati. Io ringrazio Dio d’essere riuscita a diventare un’artista e realizzarmi in una professione che celebra la vita. Questo è stato ciò che August Wilson ha fatto riesumando i sogni di persone semplici, scrivendo ‘Fences’, questa bellissima storia viva, vera e toccante che ho avuto la fortuna d’interpretare e ringrazio la Paramount alla quale si deve la realizzazione del film.”
Emma Stone, al suo primo Oscar, emozionata, ha detto d’ammirare tutte le attrici nominate insieme a lei e la sua vittoria la spronerà maggiormente ad impegnarsi avendo ancora molto da imparare. Ha ringraziato Ryan Gosling per le risate fatte insieme e per aver preso parte con lei ad un’incredibile avventura.
Casey Affleck sembrava quasi scusarsi per la vittoria dicendo comunque “ È una grande emozione per me questo premio e ringrazio Kenneth Lonergan d’aver scritto una storia inusuale e per avermi scelto. È grazie a lui sono qui”.
Damien Chazelle vince per la miglior regia con il suo “La La Land” partito con 14 nominations e vincendone sei, comunque un traguardo al quale al regista ancora sembra un sogno. Nel ricevere l’Oscar, ha ringraziato tutti i suoi collaboratori e le persone che lo hanno sostenuto.
Mahershala Ali, prima di parlare, si è abbottonato la giacca ricordando come sua madre glielo avesse raccomandato. Indubbiamente è stato l’attore, come ha detto lui stesso, arrivato alla ribalta con “Moonlight”, un film che parla di diversità ed è stato capito e sostenuto. A maggior ragione, essendo diventato padre da poco, ha il dovere d’insegnare a sua figlia la tolleranza
Alessandro Bertolazzi, come ci aveva annunciato, ha dedicato l’Oscar agli emigrati. Il suo sogno continua ora anche nella realtà.
Justin Hurwitz vince sia per la colonna sonora e per la miglior canzone originale, battendo il favorito Sting con “The Empty Chair,”. Doppia vittoria alla quale il musicista era quasi incredulo. Se li è meritati, può succedere specialmente alle persone umili….
Asghar Farhadi, vincitore per il film iraniano “The Salesman” miglior film in lingua straniera, ha inviato una lettera letta a suo nome dall’ingegnere Iraniana-Americana Anousheh Ansari per giustificare la sua assenza agli Oscars “Mi spiace non essere presente in questa serata speciale. La mia è una protesta contro il mancato rispetto verso la gente della mia nazione e per le altre sei nazioni alle quali la legge dell’immigrazione vieta il visto d’entrata negli USA.
Khaled Khateeb, regista siriano di “The White Helmets” , il cui documentario ha vinto come short subject , non ha potuto partecipare alla serata dell’Academy Awards poichè le autorità dell’immigrazione gli hanno negato il permesso d’entrata negli USA
